Beautiful and great location

We had a great time staying with René and Jaap! We found them to be kind and thoughtful hosts and it was lovely to have the opportunity to stay in their home. Your wonderful and thoughtful hospitality was very much appreciated.

The apartment was a great location for exploring Utrecht and the rest of the Netherlands. It is close to the central train station and an easy walk to the city center. The apartment itself was beautiful with a great view of the canal and a very lush backyard. It was very clean and well-provisioned for cooking, entertaining and getting a good night’s sleep.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad bij René en Jaap! We vonden ze aardige en attente gastheren en het was heerlijk om de gelegenheid te hebben om in hun huis te blijven. Hun geweldige en attente gastvrijheid werd zeer op prijs gesteld. Het appartement was een geweldige locatie voor het verkennen van Utrecht en de rest van Nederland. Het ligt dicht bij het centraal station en op loopafstand van het stadscentrum. Het appartement zelf was mooi met een geweldig uitzicht op de gracht en een zeer weelderige achtertuin. Het was erg schoon en goed uitgerust om te koken, te entertainen en een goede nachtrust te krijgen.

Great location and great hosts. We enjoyed our stay in this house. Loved the view from the living room and had a great time on the bicycle.

Excellent location, great hosts

René and Jaap are great hosts, and the apartment is nice, big and clean. Excellent location too! Thank you for an awesome stay, from both Alice and I You guys were so nice, and everything was just great.

Perfekt

René und Jaap waren als Gastgeber so perfekt, wie es die Wohnung für unseren Aufenthalt in dieser tollen Stadt war. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise standen beide, bei aller gebotenen Diskretion, stets mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. René hat uns gleich nach der Ankunft einen Bereich zum (kostenlosen) Parken in der Nähe gezeigt. Bei den recht hohen Parkgebühren in Utrecht (3-4 €/Stunde oder 23-38 €/Tag) bietet sich das an. Das Haus, direkt am Kanal – tatsächlich ein Teil des Rheins, liegt am Rand des Stadtzentrums und der Utrechter Altstadt. Diese erreicht man in 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein Supermarkt mit allem was man zum täglichen Leben benötigt, ist ganz in der Nähe. Restaurants und Möglichkeiten zum Shoppen sind ebenfalls fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Wohnung war genauso, wie beschrieben ! Eine ganze Etage für uns. Komplett ausgestattet und picobello sauber. Dazu der schöne große Balkon über dem Garten. Bei unserer Ankunft fanden wir frisches Obst, ein paar Snacks und kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank vor. Für unseren nächsten Besuch in Utrecht oder Umgebung werden wir dort wieder vorsprechen.

René and Jaap were as perfect hosts as the apartment was for our stay in this great city. From arrival to departure, both were always available with advice and action, with all due discretion. As soon as we arrived, René showed us an area for (free) parking nearby. With the quite high parking fees in Utrecht (€ 3-4 / hour or € 23-38 / day), this is a good idea. The house, right on the canal – actually part of the Rhine, is on the edge of the city center and the old town of Utrecht. This can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. A supermarket with everything you need for daily life is very close. Restaurants and shopping opportunities are also within walking distance. The apartment was exactly as described! A whole floor for us. Fully equipped and spotlessly clean. In addition, the beautiful large balcony over the garden. When we arrived we found fresh fruit, a few snacks and cold drinks in the fridge. We will audition there again for our next visit to Utrecht or the surrounding area.

Fijn huis, prettig verblijf

Fantastisch ruim appartement op een paar minuten van het stadscentrum. Uitstekende gastvrijheid door de zeer vriendelijke René en Jaap. 100% aanbevolen. Heel erg bedankt voor het delen van jullie mooie huis met mij en het mogelijk maken van alles voor zo’n aangenaam verblijf.

Alles was perfect

“Alles war perfekt – wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen !! – die Lage ist ideal – ruhig aber Nahe beim Zentrum. Optimal war es zudem mit den Fahrrädern, die uns zur Verfügung standen – die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Stil und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. – unsere Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns wertvolle Tips (Unterlagen) gegeben – das Bett war sehr bequem und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen – die Küche war top eingerichtet inkl. Kaffeemaschine mit Pads, Kaffeerahm und Zucker – in idealer Start in den Tag”

- onze gastheren waren zeer hoffelijk en gaven ons waardevolle tips (documenten) 
- het bed was zeer comfortabel en we sliepen heerlijk - de keuken was goed uitgerust met een koffiezetapparaat met pods, koffiecrème en suiker 
- een ideaal begin van de dag "
