I stayed here for a week while working remotely in New York hours and exploring in the mornings. I found it to be the perfect location and great value. The location is excellent. You can walk to the train station in less than 10 minutes, a lovely park is 6 minutes and everything else is within a 10-minute bike ride. I was pleased to have a bike provided. They knocked on my door every few days to check in and make sure everything was fine. I wasn’t sure how private the space was going to be and was pleased that there was a door on all of the rooms leading off of the shared landing, including a lockable bedroom that’s attached to the shower room. The toilet is a separate room that you have to pass through the shared landing for. Laundry is available if you ask, but it’s in their private space. You will sleep easy with a comfortable bed, blackout curtains, and a quiet neighborhood. Working in the living room space was pleasant with a great view of the canal. The internet/wifi changed strengths sometimes making my Zoom calls a little delayed but was generally reliable.
