If you get the opportunity to stay in this lovely apartment, seize it! The space is beautiful, well-equipped and comfortable (the bed especially!) and René and Jaap are so kind and friendly. Plus, the location is ideal — close to the station but in a calm part of town. I would’ve been happy to spend much longer.

We have been a few days in Utrech and we have loved the city and the house. It is as described and seen in the photos. Perfect location, very nice neighborhood and house in perfect condition. Everything very cozy. 100% recommended

“René was a brilliant host – so friendly and accommodating, definitely went above and beyond making sure everything was right, even popping out a getting a new hairdryer for me while I was at work! René gave a very useful introduction around the flat ensuring I knew where I could find things and had provided some snacks and drinks in the cupboards, which was perfect after a long day travelling and working! Such a great place and hosts for my first Airbnb, thanks!! Thanks for being a great host and being so friendly and helpful! I had a great stay!”

What a beautiful place, with wonderful hosts! Looking out over the canal, with a working windmill (and tiny petting zoo) about a block down (across the canal). Within walking distance to the train station, within walking distance to a grocery store, with a beautiful home…wow, did we live our time here! We spent two weeks at their beautiful apartment, got to use their bicycles to go downtown to the Dom, took day trips to various towns (including Amsterdam, only a half-hour away), and fell in love with this wonderful country (and wonderful Utrecht!) AAA+++!!!

Wonderful spacious apartment a little over a km from the city center. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood, and an easy walk to the train station. René and Jaap were very helpful in recommending things to do in Utrecht.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was close to the train station, so we could visit other cities, and an easy walk to the city center. The recommendations on where to eat and what to do were great.

What a wonderful experience! Everything I had hoped for and more. Jaap and Rene were such kind, welcoming hosts. The highlight of my visit was a private walking tour of Utrecht with Rene. Not to be missed. I would recommend this charming home to everyone. Thank you again to our hosts!

We had a great time at this b&b (you can opt out of the breakfast because only on request), close to the city centre and in Lombok, a great neighbourhood. The hosts, with whom you share the entrance and hallway, are very welcoming and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Good kitchen facilities, nice bathroom, bikes are included. Recommend it for sure!

“We had a fantastic few days in Utrecht and the appartment was beautiful. René and Jaap were excellent hosts, going out of their way to make it an enjoyable stay. We would not hesitate to return, a fantastic airbnb.”

“René and Jaap were outstanding hosts who spent time and effort to make sure we enjoyed every day of our visit to Utrecht. They are both experts on the city and surrounding areas and Rene provided a unique tour. The apartment is very well located – walking distance to the main rail and bus station and to the center of town. The apartment is located on a bicycle road with limited access for motor vehicles (other than small motorbikes). From the living room you see a nice canal and from the rear balcony you see their lovely garden. It’s just great!”
